Twikini - Is it the best Windows Mobile twitter client?

I've tested a lot of the mobile twitter clients. I'm quite happy with two of them: Twikini and Tiny Twitter . Each one of these has strengths and weaknesses and I'm currently running both of them. Which one I use depends on what I want to do. If I could merge them, I'd have the perfect mobile client.

The two areas that Tiny Twitter outdoes Twikini are that it shows the complete tweet on the main screen instead of having to click through to see the last couple of words and that it remembers where I left off reading (i.e., I'm reading tweets and refresh my stream. Tiny Twitter remembers which tweet I was last reading and leaves the cursor there so I can continue where I left off). Tiny Twitter also seems to be a bit friendlier when you use the D-Pad to navigate your tweets.

On the other hand, Twikini blows Tiny Twitter away when it comes to pure features. It does a great job with inserting photos (and retrieving them without having to click through to a browser), in forwarding Tweets you like via e-mail (although an option to choose which account to use would be nice) or SMS, and many other features (user info, public stream, etc). A point release with a couple of additional configuration options (choose default mail client, display full tweets on main screen, and continue reading last tweet on refresh) would make this application the best possible.

Twikini also seems to support the Windows Mobile platform with more frequent updates and is actively promoting their windows mobile friendliness. If you only have room for one twitter client, I'd personally go with Twikini. (Tiny Twitter photos coming soon).

On Monday or Tuesday, I was re-reading a story we'd run in The Ann Arbor News about Appalachian State fans reacting to last week's historic upset of Michigan by tearing down the goalposts of their home stadium and then carrying them through the streets of Boone, N.C., to the chancellor's house, celebrating the whole way.

The thought struck me that there's nothing Lloyd Carr and this football team could do to elicit a similar reaction here in Ann Arbor.

It’s no secret that many automakers have been struggling of late. Perhaps the biggest sign of these woes was the recent split of DaimlerChrysler, the much-vaunted, but ultimately failed, marriage between the makers of Mercedes and Chrysler cars.
